New Patients

The Appointment Process

Your first visit to our office establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you.  During the Initial Exam, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your orthodontist.  A clinical examination follows, which gives us the specific information required to decide if treatment is needed. If treatment is required but the patient is too young, he or she will be placed on a recall schedule. If the timing is correct, then more information is required to make an accurate diagnosis. This information is gathered with orthodontic records.

The second appointment is the Orthodontics Records appointment where we will take photos, head and jaw x-rays and diagnostic models so that we can make an accurate and ideal treatment plan.  Once the treatment plan is developed, we will review your findings with you at the Consultation appointment and discuss the customized treatment plan and financial responsibilities for your orthodontic needs.

You’ll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office, practice hours, payment policies and more. You can even save some time at your first visit by printing out and completing the patient forms in advance of your appointment.
